USA253 was the second GRP Dragon built by Børresen in 1971. She was bought by Maurice van Horne who brought her to the Rochester Yacht Club. Mr. van Horne had owned a number of Dragons prior to this one, which he called Applejack. USA253 changed ownership a number of times over the years and was renamed Orca in the 1980s. She is still racing at the Edgewater YC in Cleveland Ohio.
