Intrigue was built in 1974 by Godsil/Miller in Seattle, USA. She had a red hull and the cuddy was built from a new mould. The original owner, Herman Lax, kept her at the Corinthian YC in Seattle. In 1982 she was sold to Canada and given a new sail number, CAN131 where she was raced at the RCYC. In 2013 she changed ownership again and the new owner painted her hull white and installed some fittings from Bes CAN4 which included the wood cuddy. Since 2017, and under new ownership, Intrigue is at the Indian Point Yacht Club, on Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia and is actively raced in the local IPYC fleet – see IPYC race results.
